Connect Furl to Tenable.io using API keys for comprehensive vulnerability management.
Description
Section titled “Description”Tenable.io is a vulnerability management platform that provides comprehensive visibility into security vulnerabilities across your environment, helping prioritize remediation efforts. Furl integrates with Tenable.io to import asset and vulnerability data for better security risk management.
Configuration Steps
Section titled “Configuration Steps”- Log in to your Tenable.io account: https://cloud.tenable.com
- Navigate to Settings > API Keys
- Generate a new API key pair (Access Key and Secret Key)
- Copy both keys securely for use in Furl
Required Configuration
Section titled “Required Configuration”Provide the following in Furl:
- Access Key - Your Tenable.io API access key
- Secret Key - Your Tenable.io API secret key
- Tags Filter (optional) - Filter assets by tags; example:
general:furl,environment:dev. Multiple tags can be specified using a comma-separated list and must contain category and value separated by a colon.

Section titled “Datasources”- Assets and Vulnerabilities → Import asset and vulnerability data from Tenable.io to understand your security posture and prioritize remediation efforts

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Ensure your API keys have the necessary permissions for asset and vulnerability data access
- Verify the API keys are valid by testing the connection
- Check that the tags filter format is correct if using asset filtering
- Ensure your Tenable.io account has the required API access enabled
